Abstract Ahyar, 2015, Learning Inovation Management on Excellent Classes (Multisites Study in MTsN Model Praya and MTsN 1 Model Mataram). Dissertation in Doctoral Program of Islamic Education Management Postgraduate Program UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Promotor (I), Prof. Dr. H. Imam Bawani, M.A. (II), Dr. Hj. Sutiah, M.Pd. Keywords: management, learning innovation, excellent classes An excellent learning will produce an excellent output. Excellent class is one form of leaning innovation in order to produce a qualified madrasah’s graduation. The existence of excellent class may increase the madrasah’s competitiveness, build up its popularity, and madrasah’s bargaining power as excellent madrasah becomes stronger. In order to increase the madrasah’s competitiveness as the excellent madrasah needs the learning innovation with accurate management. Therefore, this research aims to find: (1) the concept of leaning innovation, (2), the implementation of learning innovation management functions and (3), the implication of learning innovation management. This research used a qualitative approach with case study type and multisites study design. The data collection technique was done through deep interview, observation and documentation. The data was analysed repeatedly through analysis in single case and cross-case. The data analysis technique was done through descriptive technique by using Analysis Interactive Model, which consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Meanwhile the data validity checking technique was done through credibility, transferability, dependibilty, and confirmability. The research found that: (1) the concept of learning innovation in excellent class built through midle input with an excellent learning process and produce an excellent out put. (2) the implementation of of learning innovation management functions in excellent class was done through a) planning design by determining input sellection standard, an excellent process standard, and an excellent output standard, b) learning innovation organization through enriched curriculum, time allocation, teachers’ role and duty, and learning sources, c) the learning innovation was done through enriched curriculum of olympiad, language, and religiosity, the class setting through moving class, a standardized teacher, media management base on IT and full day school, d) the evaluation of learning innovation was done through test and non-test approach with mastery learning standard, and high competition class assessment, and (3) the implication of learning innovation management covers a more integrated learning management system, a better teacher qualification standard, and a more increase madrasah reputation. The research found: Learning inovation management on excellent classes through academic execellent based spritual learning model.
